As CEO and Executive Chairman, Joe Stough serves as strategic adviser and leadership coach for the FlyGuys team. A seasoned entrepreneur, Joe brings over 30 years of experience in the enterprise software business and previously served in multiple key roles for Waitr, including initial seed investor, founding board member, and President and Chief Operating Officer. Since then, his focus has been on building the tech economy in Louisiana.
Before Waitr, Joe founded Syntex Management Systems, Inc., which provided enterprise-level Operational Excellence software and analytics for energy, chemicals, and other heavy industry businesses prior to its acquisition by IHS, Inc. At Syntex, Joe designed and grew its flagship software and analytics platform, IMPACT, which was implemented in over 100 countries in partnership with ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Chevron, Shell, Total, LyondellBasell, and many other world leaders.

In 2011, DaCoda began flying helicopters commercially, specializing in stabilized camera payloads for the film and TV industry. During work on a Vancouver film set a year later, he was introduced to drones.
His interest in drones took off immediately, and in 2014, he introduced drone technology to the Oil & Gas market at LAGCOE (Lafayette, LA). He co-founded Aerobotics Energy Group, which G.I.S acquired as Aerobotics Drone Division in 2018.
DaCoda is credited with flying and supervising more than 500 offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, plus Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations for offshore cargo delivery.
When DaCoda isn’t flying a drone, he’s most likely practicing archery in preparation for bow season.
With a variety of past roles such as traveling hibachi chef, financial advisor, and dump-truck driver, Nick’s professional background makes him uniquely equipped to work with customers across all industries.
Specializing in project management and operational logistics, Nick ensures Operational Excellence among our service delivery team. Nick helped build out two separate divisions from the ground up at FlyGuys, successfully implementing the proper procedures to scale to over 350 missions a month.

Previously, Whitney led the go-to-market strategy for Waitr, a primary contributor to the company going from a privately held start-up to a publicly-traded commodity on Nasdaq. The company sold for $308 million in late 2018.

Senior VP of Sales David Johnson is a business development leader with over 20 years of experience serving the environmental analytical, integrated safety services and multi-craft sectors in the industrial services industry. David has focused on industry-leading innovative offerings with organizational and technical expertise. He has held various positions of increasing responsibilities, including Director of Business Development, General Manager, Regional Sales Manager, ProTech Sales Manager, Enterprise Account Manager and Strategic Account Manager. He received his Bachelor of Science from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.
