Joe Stough
CEO & Executive Chairman
As CEO and Executive Chairman, Joe Stough serves as strategic adviser and leadership coach for the FlyGuys team. A seasoned entrepreneur, Joe brings over 30 years of experience in the enterprise software business and previously served in multiple key roles for Waitr, including initial seed investor, founding board member, and President and Chief Operating Officer. Since then, his focus has been on building the tech economy in Louisiana.
Before Waitr, Joe founded Syntex Management Systems, Inc., which provided enterprise-level Operational Excellence software and analytics for energy, chemicals, and other heavy industry businesses prior to its acquisition by IHS, Inc. At Syntex, Joe designed and grew its flagship software and analytics platform, IMPACT, which was implemented in over 100 countries in partnership with ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Chevron, Shell, Total, LyondellBasell, and many other world leaders.
Operations
DaCoda Bartels
Sr. VP of Operations
In 2011, DaCoda began flying helicopters commercially, specializing in stabilized camera payloads for the film and TV industry. During work on a Vancouver film set a year later, he was introduced to drones.
His interest in drones took off immediately, and in 2014, he introduced drone technology to the Oil & Gas market at LAGCOE (Lafayette, LA). He co-founded Aerobotics Energy Group, which G.I.S acquired as Aerobotics Drone Division in 2018.
DaCoda is credited with flying and supervising more than 500 offshore platforms in the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean Sea, plus Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations for offshore cargo delivery.
When DaCoda isn’t flying a drone, he’s most likely practicing archery in preparation for bow season.

Fred Humbert is an accomplished business executive with a proven track record of guiding sales teams through various stages of growth in the SaaS and technology sectors. Currently, Mr. Humbert leads the sales division at FlyGuys Nationwide Drone Services. Prior to this role, he spearheaded the development of successful sales teams in the manufacturing and robotics industries. Beyond his professional achievements, Fred is a passionate private pilot, reflecting his love for aviation and adventure. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Finance from California Lutheran University.
