FlyGuys Launches Platform to Connect Pilots With Customers
FlyGuys, the Lafayette-based reality data capturing tech company, launched a software platform to connect customers seeking data with those who offer the services in an online marketplace.
The platform will allow customers to place orders for specific data collection, get matched with a qualified drone pilot and receive quality data directly, company officials announced. Kevin Jurica, the company’s senior vice president of product, is heading up the launch.
It will include a pilot portal, which will notify data capturers of jobs in their area that match their qualifications. Pilots can accept or reject a job, get mission details, upload collected data and other details.
“This online marketplace is a game-changer, seamlessly and efficiently combining reality data seekers and data capturers,” Jurica said. “Our goal is to empower businesses with accurate, real-time data. I’m excited to be part of a company that prioritizes innovation and customer satisfaction.”
FlyGuys, which earlier this year moved to the former Daily Advertiser space at 221 Jefferson St., is hoping to make significant inroads in industries requiring precise and actionable data. It now has a network of nearly 13,000 pilots nationwide.
Jurica joined FlyGuys after a previous role at Syntex, which he spearheaded the development of IMPACT Enterprise, an enterprise environmental, health and safety and operational excellence software product utilized by over a million users. He has experience with global corporations such as ExxonMobil, Shell, and Chevron.
“Our new software platform represents a significant leap forward in the way reality data seekers connect with skilled data capturers nationwide,” FlyGuys CEO Joe Stough said. “This platform will streamline data collection and set new standards for quality and efficiency. Jurica’s expertise and proven track record in product technology make him the perfect leader for this endeavor.”
