BVLOS operations—flights where drone pilots operate without maintaining direct visual contact with their aircraft—are essential for expanding the capabilities and economic potential of unmanned aerial systems.

Once the rule is in place, roughly estimated to be around the end of the year, FlyGuys should see a broadening of the types and frequency of missions in pipeline monitoring, utility inspections, precision agriculture, and disaster assessment, where BVLOS capability enhances both safety and data accuracy.
